RootRise System provides cosmetic scalp and beard assessment tools, educational content, personalized product recommendations, and personal-care products.

2. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Account information — name, email address, and password when you create a RootRise account in the app or on the website.
- Order information — billing and shipping address, items ordered, and order history.
- Payment information — card and payment details are collected and processed by our payment provider. RootRise does not store full payment card numbers on its own systems.
- Assessment information — photographs of your sebum test strips, photographs of your scalp or beard area, questionnaire answers, the test location you selected, and any sebum level you confirm.
- Growth log entries — measurements and notes you choose to record over time.
- Communications — messages you send through our contact forms, by email, or to customer support.
- Newsletter sign-up — your email address if you subscribe to RootRise updates.
Information collected automatically

Guest assessments. The RootRise app allows you to complete an assessment without creating a full account. In that case an anonymous account is created so your results can be saved to your device. If you later register, results taken as a guest may be carried over to your new account.

4. Photographs and AI-Assisted Assessment
This section describes how the RootRise AI Scalp Assessment and RootRise AI Beard Assessment handle the images you submit. Please read it carefully.
- When you photograph a sebum test strip or a scalp or beard area, that image is uploaded to our secure cloud storage and linked to your account.
- The image is processed by a third-party artificial intelligence provider in order to produce a proposed sebum reading. The image and a set of written instructions are transmitted to that provider for analysis, and a result is returned to RootRise.
- The result is presented to you for review and confirmation. AI-assisted results are not always accurate, and the confirmation step is part of the assessment.
- Your images, results, and growth log entries remain associated with your account so you can view your history and track change over time.
- Assessment results and images are used to generate cosmetic-care guidance and product recommendations. They are not a medical diagnosis and are not used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
Deleting your images. You may request deletion of your assessment images and history at any time by contacting us. Deleting your RootRise account removes your assessment history and associated images from our active systems, subject to any records we are required to keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
5. When We Share Information
RootRise does not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only as far as needed to do their job:

- Assessment results and images — for as long as your account is active, or until you delete them or ask us to.
- Order records — for the period required by tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law.
- Marketing preferences — until you unsubscribe, plus a record of the unsubscribe itself.
- Support correspondence — for a reasonable period after your query is resolved.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls on customer records, and restricted access to assessment images. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
