ROOTRISE SYSTEM — TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the RootRise System website, mobile application, RootRise AI Scalp Assessment™, RootRise AI Beard Assessment™, sebum testing kits, digital scalp analyzer features, products, content, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing the Services, creating an account, completing an assessment, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. About RootRise

RootRise System provides cosmetic scalp and beard assessment tools, educational information, and personalized product recommendations intended to help customers better understand their scalp or beard-care needs. RootRise also offers personal-care and related consumer products.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, completing an assessment, or placing an order. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account. The Services are intended for individuals who are legally able to enter into a binding agreement or who use the Services with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. RootRise AI Scalp & Beard Assessments

The RootRise AI Scalp Assessment™ and RootRise AI Beard Assessment™ may use test-strip photographs, scalp or beard-area photographs, questionnaire responses, user-confirmed sebum levels, test location, and other submitted information to generate cosmetic-care guidance and RootRise product recommendations. AI-generated or AI-assisted results may not always be accurate. Users should review their proposed result and follow the confirmation steps provided in the assessment experience.

4. Not Medical Advice or Diagnosis

RootRise assessments, sebum tests, digital analyzer images, educational materials, and product recommendations are for cosmetic and informational purposes only. They are not medical diagnoses, medical devices for diagnosis, or substitutes for professional medical advice, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. RootRise does not diagnose or treat alopecia, dermatitis, psoriasis, infection, disease, or other medical conditions. Seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional for persistent, severe, painful, unusual, or medically concerning symptoms.

5. Sebum Test Kits

Follow all instructions supplied with the RootRise Sebum Test Kit. Scalp assessments may involve testing designated areas such as the Hairline and Middle Part/Crown, while beard assessments may involve the Beard Area and Under Chin. Product residue, recent washing, environmental conditions, image quality, lighting, placement, timing, and other factors may affect test or photo interpretation. Test strips are intended for the uses described in the applicable instructions and should not be reused.

6. Digital Scalp Analyzer

The RootRise Digital Scalp Analyzer is an optional visual tool that allows customers to view and capture magnified images of the scalp or skin beneath facial hair. Images are intended for cosmetic observation and progress tracking. The analyzer is not intended to diagnose disease or replace examination by a licensed healthcare professional.

7. Personalized Product Recommendations

Recommendations are based on the information available to the RootRise system at the time of an assessment. Scalp and skin needs may change over time. A recommendation does not guarantee a particular cosmetic outcome, hair-growth result, or improvement. Customers should follow product labels and directions and discontinue use if irritation or an adverse reaction occurs.

8. Product and Cosmetic Claims

RootRise personal-care products are intended for cosmetic care, including cleansing, conditioning, moisturizing, nourishing, maintaining appearance, and supporting a healthy-looking scalp, beard, hair, skin, or lips as described on applicable product pages and labels. Unless specifically stated otherwise in legally compliant labeling, RootRise products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent disease.

9. Individual Results

Individual experiences and cosmetic results vary. Factors including routine, consistency, hair and skin characteristics, environment, styling practices, and other personal factors may influence results. Testimonials, photographs, reviews, or examples are not guarantees that another customer will achieve the same outcome.

10. Orders, Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, discounts, and other charges will be shown when applicable. RootRise may correct typographical or pricing errors, refuse or cancel orders affected by an error, limit quantities, or discontinue products. Payment must be successfully authorized before an order is processed.

11. Shipping

Processing and delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by carriers, weather, holidays, address issues, inventory, or circumstances outside RootRise’s reasonable control. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Current shipping options, charges, and applicable processing information are provided during checkout or in the posted Shipping Policy.

12. Returns, Refunds and Order Problems

Because RootRise sells personal-care, cosmetic, and testing products, opened, used, activated, or otherwise non-resalable items may be ineligible for return for hygiene and safety reasons. Eligibility for unopened items, damaged shipments, incorrect items, missing items, and other order issues is governed by the current Return & Refund Policy. Customers should report damaged or incorrect orders promptly and retain packaging and photographs when requested.

13. Subscriptions and Recurring Purchases

If RootRise offers a subscription or recurring-purchase program, the price, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation method, and any material conditions will be disclosed before enrollment. By enrolling, you authorize recurring charges according to the terms presented at signup until the subscription is canceled in accordance with those terms.

14. Photos, Assessment Data and Privacy

When you submit photographs or assessment information, you authorize RootRise to process that information as reasonably necessary to provide the requested assessment, recommendations, account features, support, and related Services, subject to the RootRise Privacy Policy and applicable law. Do not submit photographs or information that you do not have the right to provide. The Privacy Policy should be reviewed for additional information about collection, use, retention, and protection of personal information.

15. Acceptable Use

You may not misuse the Services; interfere with their operation or security; attempt unauthorized access; submit unlawful, fraudulent, malicious, or infringing content; reverse engineer protected software except where applicable law expressly permits it; scrape or systematically extract protected content without permission; impersonate another person; or use the Services to violate applicable law.

16. Intellectual Property

RootRise names, logos, product names, assessment materials, test instructions, photographs, graphics, software, website and app content, educational materials, selection and arrangement of content, and other protectable materials are owned by or licensed to RootRise System and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership rights are transferred to you by your use of the Services. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, publish, or commercially exploit protected RootRise materials without prior written permission except as allowed by law.

17. Trademarks

RootRise™, RootRise AI Scalp Assessment™, RootRise AI Beard Assessment™, TEST • TREAT • GROW, and other RootRise names, logos, slogans, or marks may be trademarks or claimed marks of RootRise System. Use of the Services does not grant permission to use any RootRise mark in a manner that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or ownership.

18. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may rely on or link to third-party services, payment processors, app stores, shipping carriers, analytics providers, or websites. RootRise is not responsible for third-party services that it does not control. Your use of those services may be governed by separate third-party terms and privacy policies.

19. Service Availability and Changes

RootRise may modify, update, suspend, replace, or discontinue features, assessments, recommendations, products, prices, content, or portions of the Services. RootRise does not guarantee that every feature or product will always be available or that the Services will operate without interruption or error.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. RootRise does not warrant that assessments, recommendations, digital features, or content will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every individual. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RootRise System and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the Services or products. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

22. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights. This provision does not apply where prohibited by applicable law.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent applicable federal law or mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

24. Changes to These Terms

RootRise may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law. Material changes may be communicated through the website, app, email, or another reasonable method when appropriate.
